The American School faculty is diverse and well experienced and composed of various nationalities.  For English, geography, history and economics, all teachers are native speakers of English and are British and American.  For Arabic subjects they are of course native speakers of Arabic ( Egyptian, Palestinian and Yemeni ).  Our science and mathematics teachers are of various nationalities ( including Russian ) and all have been chosen for their technical expertise and fluency in English.  Our computer teachers are Iraqi and Yemeni and our sports teachers are Iraqi and Ukrainian.
